Now, it's likely fair to say that there are few people on the planet more widely — if somewhat improbably — revered than . Lee, after all, has somehow emerged from a controversial comic book career as the de facto figurehead of everything geeky, with modern fans largely ignoring the issues that many older comic book enthusiasts still have with a man who — in between co-creating some of the greatest characters in the world today — is considered by some to be the industry's greatest sell out.

For anyone who simply loves watching punch one another on the big screen, however, Lee is closer to an unusually omnipresent great-uncle — a smiling, reassuring beacon of familiarity in even the most outlandish of movies.

And, from the sounds of it:

That, at least, is what head honcho recently suggested, revealing to the Maltin on Movies podcast that:

"Most recently he [Lee] flew to Atlanta and shot four cameos in one day for upcoming projects, one of which I think is maybe the best one we've ever done. It's a high bar for Stan."

And so, in other words? According to Kevin Feige, Stan Lee's greatest cameo is yet to come. Precisely which movie said cameo will turn up in remains a mystery, of course — though you'd have to imagine that the soon-to-be-released and next year's -defining would be the most obvious candidates. After all, they would seem to offer up the most obvious options for outlandish, outer-space antics for Lee - with the latter perhaps even featuring a "last hurrah" of sorts for the now 94-year-old comic book icon.

Either way, though, it seems that we've now got one more thing to look forward to — just in case the plethora of over-excitement-inducing Marvel movies heading our way in the next year or two wasn't already enough.

What do you think, though? Which cameo do you think will prove to be Stan Lee's best yet. Or, have we already seen it? Let us know below!
