In the aftermath of her horrific assault which saw her gagged and bound at gun point, thrown into a bathtub and robbed of ten million dollars worth of jewelry in her hotel room in Paris, the Kardashian camp has been eerily silent about how Kim is coping.
Instead we have been inundated with the voice of thousands of strangers who, in the wake of the news breaking around the world, took to the internet to share their feelings about what had happened her — and not all of it was good.
With the announcement that Keeping Up With The Kardashians was going on hold until Kim felt well enough to resume filming in combination with eldest sister Kourtney's cryptic Tweet — the first Kardashian to Tweet since the robbery — we waited with baited breath with any further information on just how Kim was feeling nearly two weeks after the attack. Finally, Khloé has broken the silence and in an interview with Ellen has revealed that Kim is struggling since the violent attack.
"Kim's Not Doing That Well"
When asked by Ellen how Kim was doing, Khloe answered honestly that she really wasn't doing very well. She went on to say this was because of the nature of the attack being "incredibly traumatic." I think it's fair to say that for anyone, this would be a very difficult ordeal to overcome.
"But Our Family Is Super Close And Great, And We'll Get Through This Together"
Khloé closely followed her statement about Kim not being in a good way by saying that through the closeness of her family, who notoriously support each other through thick and thin, they will all move forward through this trauma and do everything that can to get Kim to where she needs to be. This echoes the sentiments that Khloé made in a recent Episode of KUWTK which aired at the end of August after Kim and Kourtney threw her a surprise 'TLC party' after she filed for divorce from Lamar:
After telling Ellen that her immediate family are really pulling together for Kim, Khloé extended her gratitude to all of the members of the public who have sent messages of support to Kim and the Kardashian family. However, she did again point out that Kim's healing process will "take time."
"Pulling Back A Bit Is Really Smart"
After Khloé gushed about the support of her family and fans, Ellen asked about how quiet the Kardashian clan had been on their usually very busy social media pages and whether this means they won't be so active from now on. Khloe responded by highlighting the importance of everyone's safety first and foremost, to make sure that "we are all protected" but that these adjustments are made as a family unit, with everyones full support.
She then followed this up by saying she thought it was really smart to pull back a bit from the public eye until Kim, and the family, have healed from this traumatic experience.
