Months after Kim Kardashian West was held and robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room, investigators are finally making some progress in the harrowing case. With the reality TV star safe and finally feeling like her old self again back in Los Angeles, French officials have revealed that they have made sixteen arrests in connection with the crime.
Back in October, #KimKardashian was robbed by at least two men dressed up as police officers, who bound and gagged her, and made off with approximately $10.5m in jewellery. She has since said that she feared that they would kill her — in a promo clip posted the other day for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians series, the star wept that they were "going to shoot me in the back."

Apparently, after police found traces of DNA at the scene, a number of suspects — with one reportedly being in his 60s — were taken into custody. Most were allegedly arrested around Paris, Normandy and the French Riviera. The authorities said:
"One of the DNA samples matched an individual known to police for robbery and criminal offences."
According to French law, the suspects can be held and questioned for up to 96 hours before being given an official reason to be detained. Watch this space.
