Following Sharon Osbourne's brutal comments about Kim Kardashian West's nude selfie game — in which she called her a "ho" and a fake feminist — the reality TV star posted a triumphant picture of her self climbing a tree in the buff in the name of art. As a reminder, here's what the 64-year-old said last week:
"Kim says she’s doing everything in the name of feminism, but that’s not feminism! [...] If Kim wants to show off her body, fine. But that’s not feminism. That’s being a ho. There’s nothing wrong with being a ho, but always remember what you are."
Now, Kimmy being Kimmy, we never really expected her to let such scathing comments slide, and over the weekend she clapped back at The Talk host by making Osbourne look like a bit of a tool. While attending a Harper's Bazaar event celebrating "ICONS By Carine Roitfeld" the mother-of-two spoke to E! News and finally shared her opinion on the matter, setting the record straight saying:
"First of all, I think she said I said a quote about, 'I post nude photos in the name of feminism.' Never said that. So I think when people misquote you and then comment, it just sounds ridiculous."
Slamming Sharon for slut-shaming her for being proud of her body, Kim had to then once again painstakingly explain why she sometimes chooses to share nudes with her fans:
"I post nude photos because I like how I look and I feel proud when I've lost all this baby weight and I post it because I feel like posting it and I feel powerful. But I've never been like the 'free the nipple' kind of girl so... if I post a photo, I post it because I like how I look. So she kind of misquoted me on that and I thought it just looked really, like stupid."
Ultimately, we should all know by now that no good will ever come from publicly shitting all over a Kardashian or shaming another woman for doing what she wants with her body. Sharon Osbourne and Chloë Grace Moretz, you can show yourselves out now.
