As is increasingly becoming the case with most blockbuster movie franchises, the only way to find out anything about the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle adaptation is through associated toys and merchandise.

For example, the recent UK Toy Fair could have potentially released a relatively major piece of casting news. No photography was allowed in the fair, however TMNT.com were on hand to provide some descriptions of three LEGO sets for Paramount's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Among other things, the sets seem to suggest that Splinter, the Turtles' rat sensei, will be gray instead of the traditional brown, but more importantly, the LEGO seems to almost confirm Karai as a character in the movie. We've already known this is a possibility, but now the internet rumor mill has put a name to the character.

According to ComicBookMovie.com, Japanese-American actress (General Hospital) could be up for the role. We know that she was cast in a secret role last year, which at the time, led to speculation she could be Karai in TMNT. Furthermore, her IMDB page also suggests she's down to play Karai, although we have known these IMDB castings to be wrong in the past. All-in-all though, it does look fairly likely.
