Having karate chopped his way through all the criminals in Europe in both Taken movies and punched a wolf in the face in The Grey, is now set to take to the skies and kick some ass at 40,000 feet in his latest action movie offering, Non-Stop.
It will be directed by , whom Neeson worked with previously on Unknown, and has a pretty impressive supporting cast in the form of and .
Filming on Non-Stop kicked off last month, and now the first image for the movie has arrived via EW.
Want to know what the movie is all about? Here's the synopsis:
Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) is a burned-out veteran of the Air Marshals service. He views the assignment not as a life-saving duty, but as a desk job in the sky. However, today’s flight will be no routine trip.
Shortly into the transatlantic journey from New York to London, he receives a series of mysterious text messages ordering him to have the government transfer $150 million into a secret account, or a passenger will die every 20 minutes. What follows is a nail-biting cat and mouse game played at 40,000 feet, with the lives of 200 passengers hanging in the balance.
Neeson is great at pretty much everything he does, and Collet-Serra showed in Unknown that he can craft an explosive action sequence, so this has the potential to be a more than decent action/thriller.
Non-Stop will get a release later this year, and you can get all the latest updates for the movie by clicking the [[follow]] button.
