Hillary Clinton could succeed where her husband failed: get her own biopic before becoming president!

The Spectacular Now- helmer is already prepping Rodham, a biopic centering on the formative years of the former First Lady and Secretary of State.

According to Deadline Lionsgate entered early negotiations to back the project. The studio is currently making its shareholders very happy indeed with the box office performance of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Although the movie will presumably paint a complex and not altogether flattering portrail, Hillary still might best her husband Bill Clinton in terms of (dubious) big screen glory. The 42nd President of the United States had to wait till the second term of his presidency to get his life fictionalized in the political dramedy Primary Colors, in which played Clinton-clone Jack Stanton.

If Lionsgate bites, Rodham could land in theaters even before Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presumed 2016 presidential run.
