As if there wasn't enough tension brewing for Fast & Furious 6, an intriguing interview with actor has hit the net, thanks to Heavy, and it gives us a hint at the bro-tacular s**t storm that awaits us.
Evans reveals that this his character is a true villain, a real antagonist, trying to disrupt the team. He plays Owen Shaw, a military trained criminal with similarities to a Bond baddie; very clever and always staying a step ahead of the game.
Since he is not as well known as co-stars (The Rock) or , the team behind the movie gave Evans a very specific style of fighting to make his scenes more believable. People have to be convinced that he can actually kick the others' asses.
This is how Luke explains Shaw:
He's very successful. Very very clever. As you can imagine SAS, they have a huge amount of fight training. They know a lot of different forms of fighting. He can change his accent. He can change his look. And he has a team of people around him who sort of respect him, but they don't have the same sort of dynamic or respect for each other as the team that you all know from the franchise, which makes them very separate and very different.
Shaw earns a living by stealing military technology and selling it in the black market, and the team is desperate to find the guy who is out-maneuvering them at each turn. So, it looks as though there's a completely different dynamic going on from the previous Fast movies. Traditionally it's been about money, but this time they're on a mission to catch this dangerous man. A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
