Aside from a world premiere at the Karovly Vary Film Festival last year and at Fantastic Fest in the US in September, we've discovered via Indiewire that Drafthouse Films has now acquired 's Mood Indigo starring Audrey Tautou for a US release.

Indiewire have said that TimLeague, the founder of Drafthouse Films stated:

Not since Amelie have we seen so undeniably whimsical and charming and her storybook romance with co-star is set perfectly within a quirky, visually-stunning fantasyland that only could imagine.

Apparently the deal for the film which also stars Romain Duris and Omar Sy was sealed by James Emanuel Shapiro 'on behalf of Drafthouse Films and Vanessa Saal Senior VP international sales at Studiocanal'; though a release date is yet to be confirmed.
