Now, ' seventh season may yet be a depressingly long way away from hitting our screens, but that doesn't mean that we can't begin getting massively overenthusiastic about the whole thing. After all, with only two (shortened) seasons to go, 's ratings juggernaut seems set to bring a whole lot of concluding action our way in a fairly short space of time.

What's more, if the recent comments of a certain are to be believe, the show really is about to blow us all away — all the way through to the Season 7 finale. Y'see:

And, even with this being the famously hype-happy we're talking about, it seems prudent to believe her. What's more, with her recent interview with BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show revealing that there are still things she doesn't know, it seems perfectly reasonable to assume that she is actually very much in the know when it comes to the show's secrets of which she does profess knowledge. As she herself put it, after being asked if she had any idea how the series as a whole would end:

"None… And I make educated guesses and we try and get answers and bits of information and knowledge from the writers, but they keep it very close to their chest. But it’s so exciting, and particularly the end of this [season], it’s just a great finale, and it makes me excited for the [season] after. Cause I’m, like, one season ahead of everyone else, and so, I get the scripts and it’s all really exciting, cause it’s all stuff that no one’s seen before, but then as soon as you’ve read it, you’re like, ‘But I want the next season now.’… People should be very, very excited."

Whether you're inclined to trust in Williams's judgement or not, though, it's surely good news that is sufficiently en route for its stars to now be actively teasing its finale, no?

Or does that just make the waiting even more painful? Winter has come, after all, and this Spring is only set to bring a dream of a seventh season. Summer, then, still seems a long, long way away.

What do you think, though? Just how excited are you for Game of Thrones Season 7? Let us know below!
