Since news of #BradPitt and #AngelinaJolie's divorce made headlines around the globe, French actress Marion Cotillard has gone out of her way to squash any rumors that an affair with her #Allied co-star could be the real reason behind the break-up. However, perhaps talking to US Weekly about filming sex-scenes with your alleged lust-buddy isn't exactly the best way to let those sleeping dogs lie.
While promoting the upcoming romantic thriller — which hits theaters November 23rd — Cotillard opened up about a particular scene that shows the on-screen lovebirds entangled in a backseat during a sandstorm. However, while their actions may seem completely natural, apparently they took a lot of "determined choreography" to get right. She explained:
"We rehearse and had a very determined choreography, and then it allows you freedom. When you know exactly what your body will do, then you can act and you can be free to give the emotions and give the feelings because you won’t think: 'What am I going to do next? Am I going to go on top of him?' It’s an awkward situation."

Little did the actress know that by the time the movie's released, the entire world would be scrutinizing their chemistry, looking for any hint of their relationship putting the "lie" in Allied. But, she assures, this scene happened far from organically:
"We laughed because you need to get it out because this is so weird. You get this time of looking at each other and saying: 'OK, this is so weird.' And then we go into this and then I’m going on top of you and then we are going to kiss."
This interview comes one month after the actress took to Instagram to comment on the "haters who are quick to pass judgement."
