With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story killing it at the box office, it seems like the first spinoff film in the Star Wars franchise has been an undeniable success. With its likable character, smart storyline and even clever use of previously unused footage from A New Hope, the film has defied expectations. But not only has Rogue One impressed Star Wars fans, it's also impressed Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill. In fact, the film tickled his fancy so much he's even been tweeting puns about it.

'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story': News, Rumors, Release Date, Trailers & All You Need To Know

Hamill, who — much like his Star Wars co-star Carrie Fisher — is quite the Twitter user, shared his enjoyment of the film with his followers below, capping off the tweet with a rather laugh-groan worthy hashtag:

Yeah that's right, he went there with a "RogueOneDerful" hashtag.

But proving he's no pun wookie, Hamill also made jokes about the oft-made spelling mistake when writing the film's title ("Rouge One" instead of "Rogue one") and tied it into one of his previous films, Samuel Fuller's World War II film The Big Red One. Yes that's right, presenting to you: The Big Rouge One:

Mark Hamill, everyone. Not only is he a Jedi master, but he's also Lord of the puns.

Rogue One is out in theaters now, but if you've already seen it take a look at all the easter eggs hidden in the film:
