Sometimes it isn't about longstanding relationships. Sometimes, #superheroes just want to let loose and have sex. In some cases, they get together and it turns into a relationship, but sometimes it's all about getting off. Here are some of my favorite #Marvel comics random hookups.
Jessica Jones And Luke Cage
Comic: Alias #1
They may have gotten married later on, but it didn't start off like that. Jessica Jones just had one heck of a day. She solved a case, had to throw her client through a door for assaulting her, called the cops to report what happened, then one of the cops insulted her and made an accusation that it might have been her fault. That night she ends up going to Luke Cage's bar. She flirts with Luke and after a quick convo the two of them leave together to blow off some steam.
Punisher And Kathryn O'Brien
Comic: Punisher MAX #23
Thinking of someone like the Punisher having sex is probably weird. How does he talk to women without sounding like a guy who spends his life killing people? Easy — he finds a woman who is just as angry and ruthless as he is. Kathryn O'Brien always had a thing for Frank Castle, and after she saved his life, she stitches up a gun wound and flat out says in a calm voice, "I've been in jail for 18 months. When we get through here, you want to go jump in the sack?" Punisher says sure.
It doesn't end there!
Comic: Punisher MAX #39
Later, Kathryn O'Brien needed some help not getting executed by the British military and killing her ex-husband. Punisher shows up unexpectedly and says he would help her get her revenge, but after it's over they go their separate ways. While eating, she asks Castle if he is bored or lonely. He says no. She then asks if he wants to have sex and he says yes.
Sadly, O'Brien later died and was probably the only person Castle might have loved after his wife died. He stayed with her during the sunset as the sun rose.
Bullseye (As Hawkeye) And Moonstone (As Ms. Marvel)
Comic: Dark Avengers #10
Moonstone has been known to hook up with guys from time to time. During her time as an Avenger, she hooked up with Noh-Varr and he ended up leaving the team. During a meeting, Bullseye calls her out and asks if Norman was next on her list. She tells Bullseye that HE is, in fact, on her list. Later, Bullseye asks what's up with her comment. She says that while she thinks Bullseye is a creep, he's kept it together as Hawkeye and has been impressive. She walks away to her room and starts to strip off her clothes. Bullseye looks and smiles.
Jamie Madrox And Siryn
Comic: X-Factor #10
Jamie Madrox and the rest of X-Factor Investigations got drunk after Jamie told the government to go to Hell and that they would NOT support the Superhuman Registration Act. Jamie wakes up and sees a duplicate of his walking out of the bedroom. He reabsorbs him and can't believe the memory he just received from his dupe: His duplicate had sex with Siryn. She then just so happens to walk out of the room and kiss him. However, that wasn't the only woman his dupe got it on with.
Madrox — or his dupe (who knows) — was apparently VERY busy that night, to say the least. Monet leaves her room right after Siryn goes into the bathroom and kisses Madrox and says that now she knows why they call him "Multiple Man."
Fun Fact: After Monet and Siryn found out he was two-timing them (because he didn't stop being intimate with either of them), they were NOT happy with him. Monet actually grabbed Madrox and kept slamming him against the wall until the dupe that seduced her came forward.
Cyclops And Emma Frost
Comic: New X-Men #131
Cyclops and Jean Grey have been together almost all of their lives. It seemed as if they were destined to be together no matter what was thrown in their way. Life, death, death again, clones, the constant advances of Wolverine, and death again. Despite all of that, they remained a couple. It wasn't until Cyclops had Apocalypse running around in his brain that made Cyclops change. Cyclops went to Emma Frost for help on how to adjust to his new attitude and how to save his marriage. Emma took advantage of Scott's state of mind and thus began their affair. While Cyclops and Emma tried to justify it as just sharing thoughts, to a telepath I am going to guess it's all the same, especially after what Jean did to Emma after she found out what was going on.
Deadpool And Outlaw
Comic: Suicide Kings #5
Deadpool is NOT known for being a ladies' man. He's annoying, apparently smells bad, and won't stop talking. Despite all of that, Deadpool has had a few women like him despite all of his unfavorable qualities. Among them is a super strong mutant named Outlaw (don't call her Crazy Inez). After Punisher destroyed her apartment chasing after Deadpool, Dadpool felt bad and bought her a new one, fully furnished. After Deadpool told her he did it out of the kindness of his heart, Outlaw pushes him on the bed. Deadpool tells her that he didn't do this to get in her pants and Outlaw replied, "That's why this is happening." The scene ended with Deadpool asking for her to be gentle with him as she kissed his neck.
How does this compare with what happened in the Deadpool movie?
Wolverine And Domino
Comic: X-Force: Sex & Violence
Their relationship had been hilarious for years. First they hooked up after a mission in Japan while Emma and Cyclops were about to have their first psychic affair (Emma said Wolverine and Domino were in the other room making animal noises). Later, Domino ripped off the Assassins Guild for millions of dollars. Logan and Domino ended up getting a hotel and having rough, animal-like sex. They later did it again on the plane ride to have their standoff with the Assassins Guild. After everything was said and done, the money was given to charity. Well, except for the 37 million Domino kept for herself and for the car she bought Logan — the same car they used to drive away and I assume to have more sex in.
