We're starting to see the first promotional material starting to roll for upcoming young adult adaptation Divergent, and, of course, that comes with the obligatory character posters that every blockbuster film requires these days.

Next up is in the role of Max, looking dark and murderous. I wonder how he'd react if you were to say to him, "Hey, baby, I like the way you chiaroscuro." Probably stab you, judging from the poster.

If you missed the posters for character Tory Wu (), then click here. And if you want to check out the character posters for Tris () and Four (), click here.

Divergent is based on the best-selling trilogy by Veronica Roth, and follows the story of Beatrice "Tris" Prior, who lives in a dystopian future society where teenagers must decide which of the five factions they want to join when they come of age - for the rest of their lives. But when Tris makes a choice that wasn't what everyone suspected, she's labeled "divergent", and must fight for her life against the authoritarian regime set on wiping her kind out.

The posters look slick so far, but I'm not sure that will be enough to give it a boost at the box office from non-fans of the book who will see this as nothing more than "That one movie that's like The Hunger Games." I mean, let's be honest. They yanked the flaming circle design directly from The Hunger Games' mockingjay. What do you think? Sound off in the comments.
