Scott Frazier has been hired to polish the script.

Bekmambetov's most recent contribution to cinema was 2011's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, though he may best be known for the vehicle, Wanted. Nothing wrong with that.

Frazier is expected to add his finishing touches to the script soon, although with the screenwriter also involved in completing Universal's Day One and MGM's Metro 2033, there's no knowing when Heatseekers will be ready for production.
