Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been pushed back, again. Originally scheduled for a June 6, 2014 release, 's remake will now hit the big screen on August 8, Coming Soon reports.

Why the change? Well, it's probably down to the fact that Paramount is scheduled to release Transformers: Age of Extinction on June 27, and wanted more of a gap between what should be their two of their biggest cash cows of next summer.

I realize it's bad news for you Turtles fans, but look on the bright side: Bay will have more time to really focus on this project and maybe, just maybe, he won't completely mess it up. Plus, it might mean that can join the promo tour after the birth of her second child. YES.

There's not been a huge amount of news coming out of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles camp recently, since the casting of as The Shredder. But that's enough to get me throwing some money at the movie on it's own! Are you still excited for Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
