Marvel movies have no shortage of standout moments or memorable lines, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is no different. One of the best lines to come out of the film is surely the scene where Yondu, played by Michael Rooker, says "I'm Mary Poppins y'all!" as he floats down to the ground with his flying Yaka Arrow in hand. Since the line appeared in the film Yondu has only further endeared himself to fans, and Rooker has continued to have fun with his character's surprising comparison to Mary Poppins.

During a Q&A and signing with fans at Disney's D23 Expo last weekend, Rooker revealed his very stylish Mary Poppins phone case to a packed audience:

This isn't the only time Rooker has been seen with Mary Poppins outside of his character. Back in May, the actor posted a photo to Instagram of himself posing with Mary Poppins at Disneyland:

The Yondu and Mary Poppins fever even went a step further when fans petitioned for Rooker to have a cameo in the upcoming 2018 film, Mary Poppins Returns starring Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The petition, started by Garyn Howells, states:

"I believe the Walt Disney company will be missing out a great opportunity to treat their fans if they did not offer Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy) the chance to have a brief cameo in their upcoming production Mary Poppins Returns as a tribute to his famous line in the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy."

However, due to the petition not getting enough signatures in support of a cameo, Rooker unfortunately won't be popping up in the new film alongside Blunt. But at least the actor's Yondu will certainly go down as the MCU's most badass Mary Poppins to ever walk alongside the Guardians.

What do you think of Michael Rooker's Mary Poppins phone case? Do you think his character Yondu would approve?
