Fans of NCIS: Los Angeles should expect to see a lot more of in the coming years. He made his debut last season as NCIS Assistant Director Owen Granger, cropping up from time to time as a recurring character. He's now been upgraded to a full-fledged regular cast member in both NCIS: LA and its proposed spin off.

Deadline has reported that Miguel Ferrer will be reprising his role in both shows, but it looks like he will play a larger role in the upcoming spin-off. CBS will be introducing the new show in an episode of NCIS: LA later this season. This continues a tradition of crossing over characters from both the 'mothership' show and it's various offspring. NCIS' , who played Director Leon Vance also popped up occasionally in LA, while also commuted between both Criminal Minds and its spinoff, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. With this in mind, Ferrer is looking set to become a pretty recognizable face.

NCIS: LA is currently continuing its fourth season over on CBS, which you can catch by tuning in on Tuesday, 9/8c.
