What comes to mind when you think of Christmas? Presents under the tree? Singing Silent Night around the piano? Eating loads of roast turkey before passing out in front of an animated family movie? International intrigue, spy gadgets and Tom Cruise?

Well, Paramount is certainly trying to crowbar the last one into the Christmas period, as they've scheduled the upcoming Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation to debut on December 25th, 2015.

This adds MI5 to perhaps the most blockbuster-congested year in recent record. Jurassic World, The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and of course, Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens will all be vying for attention in 2015. Luckily, most of these heavy-weights are bouting in the lucrative summer months, although the Christmas period is by no means an easy fight.

Indeed, MI5's December release date places it in direct contention with Disney's flagship 2015 blockbuster, Star Wars: Episode VII, which releases only a week before Mission: Impossible 5.

Which would rather see over Christmas? Let us know below.
