Prepare for the most energy-driven and action-packed show Netflix has ever created.
GLOW (The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) arrives on #Netflix this summer and is a comedy based on the original '80s series of the same name.
The original show's over-the-top comedic approach with badass female wrestlers took #TV by storm during its first run from 1986 to 1989 and the upcoming Netflix series has us on the ropes waiting for more after releasing the show's first teaser.

Netflix Will Bring The Smackdown This Summer
Professional wrestling is entertainment that never gets old and now Netflix is preparing a Summer Slam the likes of which we've never seen before. But the best part is, they're serving it up in totally tubular '80s style.
Alison Brie (from How To Be Single and Mad Men) will star as GLOW's leading lady, Ruth, and the show's list of executive producers include Orange is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan, which means fans can expect this series won't just grab the heavyweight title for best comedy in June, it'll body-slam the competition.
