When it comes to original programming, Netflix has taken the lead over pretty much all other streaming services and networks. Shows such as House of Cards and Orange is The New Black put the streaming service on the map back in 2013, and it has continued to thrive ever since. With new seasons of Stranger Things and The OA due for release this year, the streaming service is showing no signs of slowing down.

In addition to their returning shows, a brand new psychological drama titled Mindhunter is headed to the online service this October. David Fincher will serve as executive producer. We already had a first look back in March and now Netflix has dropped a brand new trailer. Check it out below:

We don't know about you, but we can't wait for October.

Set during the 1970s, Mindhunter will follow an FBI agent (played by Jonathan Groff) who interviews serial killers in the hope of understanding how their minds work. After he obtains this information, the agent will then apply it to solving ongoing cases.

Groff has played a number of roles across both film and television, and voiced Kristoff in Disney's Frozen. However, the actor is primarily known for his role on Glee, where he played Jesse St. James on and off from 2010 to 2015. In addition to this, he played the lead character in HBO's short-lived comedy-drama Looking, which ran for two seasons.

With hitting on October 13th, it's looking like we've already found our new fall TV addiction.
