Netflix has already succeeded in transforming our lives for the better, and now the streaming portal wants to ensure that we continue having the best possible viewing experience ever.

While we all enjoy perusing the hundreds of titles available on the platform, we've all got to agree that sometimes picking something to watch isn't as easy as it sounds. This is why is now rolling our brief video previews, enabling its users to watch a snippet of what a show/movie is about before committing.

Take note though, according to the company, these clips aren't teasers or trailers but rather "specially designed video synopses" giving us an idea of the plot. Check out this neat intro to the feature posted on Netflix's own Twitter:

According to a blog post on the platform's website:

"These previews launch globally today and will become available on eligible devices over the next few weeks. [...] This is our latest effort to continually evolve the Internet TV experience to one that provides greater choice, richer imagery, better context, and a more consumer-friendly experience."

We're into it – nice one Netflix!

Are you pleased Netflix is adding this preview feature?
