You have probably seen the painting "Nighthawks" before, but not like this!

Edward Hopper's Original 'Nighthawks' Painting

Los Angeles artist Josh Blake was chosen by Paramount Pictures and Galleries1988 to create a movie poster for the sequel to the Tom Cruise hit . Blake decided to take inspiration from the iconic piece and created a beautiful looking poster. According to his Instagram,

@joshsethblake: Anyone who knows me, knows I have an unhealthy obsession with movie poster art (mainly in the death of it.) Well if you complain enough sometimes the universe hears it and responds either nut up or shut up. With that, I was lucky enough to be chosen by Paramount and @galleries1988 to do a poster for 'JACK REACHER 2.' One more off my bucket list.

Josh Blake's 'Jack Reacher: Never Go Back' Poster

In the minimalist poster, we see Cruise's Reacher sitting at a diner by himself with three assailants dead on the ground. It has similarities to the beginning of the Diner Shop sequence showcased in the trailer for the new film, which you can view below:

The first Jack Reacher, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, released in 2012 and earned over $218 million at the box office. Its sequel, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, is directed by Edward Zwick and was released on October 21st, 2016.
