Updated 10/06/2016:

Toward the end of Season 6, we analyzed a casting call for two Northern children: a 16-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy who were due to film in September and October for a scene that included a high-speed chase. Some speculated that they might be a young Lyanna Stark and Howland Reed, but such a long filming period indicates that they're probably going to stick around for longer than just a vision. It makes more sense, then, that they are new characters that exist in real-time, alongside the characters we already know.

Now that seems pretty much certain, since this well-dressed young lord has been spotted winding down from filming outside Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge, along with Kit Harington, Gwendoline Christie, Liam Cunningham, Daniel Portman, and a young actress that might be Sophie Turner's body double, but also might be the 16-year-old Northern girl from the original casting call.

Confirmed: This young actress is definitely not Sansa's body double — which makes sense because her clothes are relatively plain. Watchers On The Wall identified her as 19-year-old actress Megan Parkinson, which means it's almost certain that she and the young boy will be playing two new characters in Season 7.

But just who could they be playing?

We last saw House Blackwood in Season 6 after the Blackfish liberated Riverrun. House Blackwood remained loyal to House Tully (that's Catelyn Stark's ancestral house, and a long-time ally of House Stark). But later in the season, we saw Edmure Tully act as a pawn in Jaime Lannister's ploy to take over Riverrun. Now that Arya's offed the Freys, the Lannisters are likely not too pleased to see their greatest allies in the area obliterated.

Since the leaked set info did reveal that these photos were taken near the set of Riverrun, then it seems likely that this could have something to do with Riverlands business. Maybe the Lannisters move in to conquer House Blackwood after word of Walter Frey's death gets out, and then the Stark forces try to step in but are only able to rescue the youngest members of the family?

Talia And Ryon Forrester

Since we know that the show has moved far beyond the ASOIAF books at this point, why not turn to the Telltale Game of Thrones video game for some inspiration?

Talia and Ryon Forrester are the younger members of House Forrester, a Northern house that swears allegiance to Robb Stark as King in the North, but is then harshly treated by the Boltons after the Red Wedding. They have their lands and precious Ironwood forests divided between themselves and their bitter rivals, House Whitehill. Ramsay even goes so far as to send young Ryon to be the ward of House Whitehill, effectively making him a hostage. It's not impossible that the show would borrow this general storyline, possibly illustrating Jon Snow's struggle to maintain peace in his own realm now that he's King in the North.

Regardless of exactly who these new characters are, it definitely seems as though they were shooting a battle sequence that could have contained a chase scene, since Kit Harington and Gwendoline Christie were wearing matching tops — probably the undershirts for their battle armor.

Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne) was also chilling out after the battle, wearing a body cooling system that keeps actors from overheating inside their costumes.

Whatever they're filming, let's just hope our heroes — and even that cute new little lord — come out unscathed in the end!

Who do you think this little lord could be?

Sounds like we've got a great battle scene to look forward to! Let's take a look at some of the best battles of Game of Thrones so far:
