Now, with 's tenure at the box office now close to two weeks old, it's perhaps unsurprising that there haven't been too many big -themed reveals over the past few weeks. After all, with the vast majority of those who are going to head to see the film having already watched it, there's only so much incentive to prod fans with the promise of new reveals or comic book-related subtleties.

An intriguing byproduct of that trend, however, is that much of the new information related to the film that is emerging has more to do with what went on behind-the-scenes. And, as such, we can all now enjoy the fact that:

Which is helpful, because the images below — created for by concept artist Christian Cordell, and recently showcased over at ScreenRant — are otherwise strikingly similar to what we saw on the big screen during 's last hurrah as the hero who made him a megastar.

While the glimpses of Professor X...

...are fairly similar to what we saw in the movie, however, it seems that we almost saw a somewhat different take on 's young . Specifically, it appears that we almost saw a much more "childlike" take when it came to one of the youthful mutant's outfits. Y'see, alongside the more grounded take on the character that we saw for much of the movie...

...and, of course, the more viscerally violent side that took over at times...

...it seems that we almost saw X-23 wearing — a pink jacket and a frilly unicorn shirt?

Which, though she did ultimately don some equally age-appropriate garb in the finished film, is waaaay more overtly feminine than the "cowboy chic" look we saw on screen.

And, in fairness, far less "X-23-y."
