The new incarnation of Stephen King's child-gobbling clown has reared his ugly head once again to wish you a happy festive season, and by the looks of things, his message will be every bit as terrifying as his OG counterpart.
In a shot exclusive to Entertainment Weekly, our new #Pennywise — who'll be played by Bill Skarsgård (Allegiant) — can be spotted lurking in a damp sewer in Derry, Maine, where the story is set. Donned in similar blood-thirsty garb, this shape-shifting, misery-feasting killer clown is (almost) as chilling as Tim Curry's portrayal. Check it out:

#It's director Andrés Muschietti (Mama), gave his two cents to EW regarding what it is about Pennywise that unsettles us:
"Pennywise shows up, he's front and center, and he does his show. He has an act. So it's weird all the time, and every little thing implies a further threat."
And those threats he certainly delivered in style. Fans of the 1990 movie will remember this stomach-clenching scene in which a drain-lurking Pennywise snatches his first victim:
