Darren Aronofsky can be really good at genuinely depicting human suffering. My personal favourite was definitely The Wrestler from him, featuring a deeply moving and poignant analysis of the ageing sportsman. Now the director is back with an even grander-scale existential drama, where most likely he is going to dissect the struggling soul of a biblical character. Noah, is an adaptation of the great flood story, hitting theatres March 28th, 2014.

Paramount Pictures has released new stills for 's upcoming Biblical adventure, Noah.

You can take a look at the ark being built and holding his wife comfortingly in his arms (). Judging from these pictures and the fact that it is an Aronofsky movie, visually the film is going to look breathtaking.
