New York Comic Con 2017 has wrapped up, but over the last few days it was one of the best occasions for fans of the sci-fi genre to reach out and spend some time with their idols. Living up to their larger-than-life roles, three of pop culture's most recognizable players didn't disappoint us, and they made the convention all about fan appreciation. Let's take a look at these awesome celebrities who made their day to their followers.

Mark Hamill Has Some Sweet Meet-And-Greets With His Younger Fans

It's no secret at this point that is a national treasure. Every fan who gets to meet him has nothing but great things to say about him. Now, he's proven his awesomeness once again during NYCC, as he posed with a bunch of young fans. Check out the pictures below; my favorite one is him carrying the lightsaber-wielding baby:

The fun didn't end there, though. Our real-life also made sure to photobomb some lucky groups of people. Hamill shared the results of their adorable meet-ups on social media.

This isn't the first time in which the actor puts his funny side on full display. Back in May, Hamill surprised a handful of his followers by popping up in their pictures without them having a clue of his presence.

Peter Capaldi Loves To Meet His Young Fans

Much like Hamill, Peter Capaldi has proven just what an awesome individual he is every chance he gets. Because of that, he's amassed a considerable fanbase, and he's made the character relatable to even the youngest of his viewers. Case in point, this adorable little man cosplaying as Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor alongside the man himself.

Clark Gregg Meets An Eager Follower

Agent Phil Coulson is up in space right now, dealing with a brand new threat. Fortunately, though, that little hiccup didn't stop him from engaging with his loyal following back on Earth. One lucky fan shared a picture of himself alongside Clark Gregg during the convention. Let's face it, the man's happy expression pretty much sums up how all of us would feel being next to the actor, right?

Being the awesome fella we all love him for, this isn't Gregg's first time pleasing fans during Comic Con. During SDCC 2016, the actor, alongside co-stars Chloe Bennet (Daisy Johnson) and Gabriel Luna (Ghost Rider), decided to go on the convention floor and surprise unsuspecting viewers. The result was hilarious if I do say so myself.

It's always great to see these actors letting loose, but watching them be able to do it and have fun with their fans — the folks who look up to them the most — is so sweet. They're role models for a lot of people, so it's a great feeling to see them being as awesome as the individuals they bring to life.
