Trailers come in all shapes and rises, and this is especially true for horror trailers. It look's like Leigh Janiak's Honeymoon has done away with the usual cliches to deliver a chilling, eerie and foreboding SXSW festival trailer. Check it out below:
Considering the trailer tells us nothing about the story, it still makes me rather eager to see the movie. Luckily, we've got a synopsis for people who prefer to know at least a bit of what the hell is going on. Read that below:
Young newlyweds Paul () and Bea () travel to remote lake country for their honeymoon where the promise of private romance awaits them. Shortly after arriving, Paul finds Bea wandering and disoriented in the middle of the night. As she becomes more distant and her behavior increasingly peculiar, Paul begins to suspect something more sinister than sleepwalking took place in the woods.
Honeymoon is due to open at the SXSW Festival at the Alamo Drafthouse on March 7th (that's today!). There's still no word on when it'll get a wider release.
