CosmicBookNews has just leaked some particularly strange plot details for ' upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens. Their "DC Entertainment source" supposedly has a friend at LucasFilm who has been leaking details about the current script for the movie by .
I'm highly dubious about this one, but the fact of the matter remains: If you want Star Wars: Episode VII to remain spoiler free, get out now!
The source is reporting a specific scene
Where Luke Skywalker shows either his son or one of Han Solo and Princess Leia's children a hologram of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker fighting side by side in The Clone Wars... Apparently something along the lines of the younger Skywalker/Solo children fear of going to the Dark Side has Luke Skywalker teach them about their grandfather and that destiny is set related to being a bad person.
I'm not sure if I can buy this. One of the major points about Darth Vader is that he redeemed himself by throwing the evil Emperor down a chasm.
The whole point of Vader's tragedy is that he was never a "bad person"; to include a scene where Luke says that there's no such thing as free will would ruin the story so far. Just my two cents. What do you think?
Star Wars: Episode VII has an estimated 2015 release date.
