In early 2015, it was reported that Power Rangers Wild Force star Ricardo Medina Jr. had been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing his roommate Joshua Sutter with a sword. The case is still underway, with Medina facing up to 26 years in jail if found guilty.
Medina, known for playing the Red Lion Wild Force Ranger in early 2000s show Power Rangers Wild Force, has pled not guilty, with his lawyer working a case to prove that the sword thrust was committed in self defense.

"I want to say I am very, very, very sorry for what occurred. I’m very happy to be out of jail and my heart goes out to the Sutter family. Thank you."
