Quentin Tarantino's follow-up to the Oscar-winning Django Unchained will be another western named The Hateful Eight, Deadline is reporting.

The nonconformist movie-maker revealed to Jay Leno last year that his experience shooting Django Unchained had left him wanting more from the genre.

Not surprisingly, it also looks like there will be a part in The Hateful Eight for Tarantino favorite , the Austrian star who won Academy Awards for his last turn in Tarantino's last two movies, Django and Inglourious Basterds.

The other name in circulation right now is that of Nebraska star , who has garnered Oscar buzz for his performance in that flick. Dern also had a small part in Django as Old Man Carrucan, but it would be fantastic to see the western alum with a leading part.

Although the plot of the film is largely being kept under wraps, with Waltz and Dern in tow perhaps The Hateful Eight will be about eight angry old men getting revenge on a bunch of young whipper-snappers who disrespect them because of their age...

Which oppressed group do you think will get their vengeance in Tarantino's The Hateful Eight? Sound off with your theories below!
