has been making the newsrounds a lot lately; there was that comment about Batman, his refusal of a part in 's upcoming movie, Tusk, and his top ten movies of 2013 (so far) recommendations have all been prominently displayed in specialized movie news outlets like the one yours truly has the honor of writing for.

Now, the legendary filmmaker, while attending the Busan International Film Festival, had some warm words of praise for what he considers the best film of the year: the Israeli drama Big Bad Wolves. According to the Knoxville-born director:

Not only is this the best film in Busan, this is the best film of the year.

Big Bad Wolves is a revenge thriller written and directed by Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, which follows detective Miki () as he obsessively chases after Dror (Rotem Keinan), who is suspected of child murder.

No American release date has been yet announced; however, Magnet Releasing already holds the US rights, so the film's premiere should be coming at some point in the not-so-distant future. To whet your appetites even more, apart from Mr. Tarantino's flattery, check out the promising trailer below:
