#TheWalkingDead's seventh season is coming to a close with the season finale just around the corner. While the second half of this season has certainly set up some major events, the war has finally picked up the pace and commenced during this episode. Having said that, the episode left so many questions dangling over our heads until next week for the intense season finale. Like I've done every week, let's take a look at the biggest questions raised by "Something They Need".
Let's get to it.
5. What Will Sasha And Eugene Do For/Against The Saviors?
This episode reveals that Sasha is willing to give her life and Eugene is a full-blown Savior, but how will these two characters evolve in the season finale? In the preview for next week's episode, we see Sasha agreeing to Negan's terms but trying to convince him that no one has to die, to which he replies that isn't going to happen.
There is only a limited number of ways that these two characters can go, but most of us can agree that both of these characters have little life left in them. When the Saviors attack Alexandria, Sasha will have no part of it and will sacrifice her life for her friends. On the other hand, I believe Negan will kill Eugene and his death will spark the conflict and war will begin. Eugene believes he is safe with Negan, but the ironic part is Negan will discover that Eugene is (hopefully) helping his friends and similar to David, he will not accept Eugene's apology.
4. Will The Oceanside Perish?
Rick and the crew raided the Oceanside compound and took every single one of their guns. In a twist of events, no one ended up dying and none of the Oceanside members joined Rick's fight against the Saviors (even though I believe Cyndie will make a surprise appearance). When Rick and Tara were walking away from the people at the Oceanside, Tara said that Rick was right and that she shouldn't feel sorry about what she did as most of the Oceanside members were on board with their plan at the end, even if they couldn't join the fight. However, is it that simple?
When Tara said that, it felt like major foreshadowing for what could possibly come. The Oceanside is now totally unprotected and if the Saviors, the Whisperers, or any other group come along and attack them, they have no way to protect themselves. It probably wouldn't happen until #TheWalkingDeadSeason8, but imagine if Cyndie escaped the attack and lead Tara back to the Oceanside to see the community wiped out? Crazy, huh?!

3. Alexandria Vs. Saviors: Who Will Win?
This episode has definitely set up a huge conflict between Alexandria and the Saviors next episode. Negan will finally gain knowledge of Rick's rebellion and be ready to "shut that shit down." When Negan and his gang show up at Alexandria's doorstep, there will be bloodshed. At the end of the day, who will come out on top?
The whole second half of the season has been about hope for Alexandria. Given that, even though both sides will have some major losses and betrayals, this will most likely be Alexandria's first win and will convince them to continue fighting throughout Season 8. Either way, Negan's not going down without a fight!

2. Is All-Out War Being Delayed Until Season 8?
For the entire season, we have been patiently waiting for #AllOutWar to begin. After the midseason finale, we were certain we would see the war take place over the course of the second half of the season. After that was proven false, we assumed the war would take place in the last four to five episodes, then three episodes, and then we thought the season finale would be the big war.
The season finale will clearly be the start of All-Out War, but is it only the first battle of many? The preview shows Negan's men preparing to fight Rick's army, but the entire All-Out War isn't going to last 10 minutes long. On top of all of this, the producers stated that fans will be cheering and the season finale won't end on a cliffhanger. Given this, I'm expecting Alexandria to win their first battle and Season 8 will cover All-Out War for the majority of its season.
1. Who's Going To Die In The Season Finale?
Will my tablecloth theory be confirmed? Or Sam Plank's gift-giving theory? While I don't believe all of the remaining victims in this theory will all die next episode, some of them definitely will. First of all, Sasha is destined to die at this point as the storyline is leading right up to her eventual sacrifice. Like I said earlier, we could easily see Eugene be killed by the hands (or the baseball bat) of Negan. These are the obvious two choices - but who else will die?
It's unclear how much the episode will focus on the Hilltop, but Gregory's death is coming very soon. The show has set up Maggie taking over his community for quite some time now - but could this all be a trick by the showrunners? What if Maggie is the one that actually surprises us all and becomes the biggest death in the finale? This would be one of the biggest twists The Walking Dead has ever pulled off and it would be mind-blowing.
Also, Morgan isn't looking too hot either. Morgan's character will be fully developed by the end of the season, and a grand sacrifice to help defeat Negan would be a fitting end. There are so many possibilities, but luckily we only have to wait a week to find out who will kick the bucket along with the rest of the answers to these questions!
