In a move that proves Hollywood will make a movie about almost anything, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Ubisoft have announced they are partnering to make a feature-length Rabbids movie.

Here's what Jean-Julien Baronnet, executive director at Ubisoft Motion Pictures, had to say:

Sony Pictures has tremendous experience developing hybrid live-action-and-animated blockbusters for audiences around the world, which makes them a natural fit for what we want to achieve with a Rabbids film. This deal deepens our partnership with Sony Pictures and highlights our holistic approach to bringing Ubisoft’s brands to new audiences while still maintaining the brands’ creative integrity.

I was really skeptical when I first heard that Rabbids was getting a big-screen adaptation, but as the recent critical and commercial success of The Lego Movie has shown, with a great script, event the most left-field of movie ideas can take off.

I want to hear you thoughts on a potential Rabbids movie. Is it a good idea? Drop your thoughts and suggestions in the comment section below.
