We've just learned through Deadline that 'Radius-TWC has acquired Danish horror pic When Animals Dream (Når Dyret Drømmer)' at the Berlin Film Festival.

The film which is helmed by Jonas Arnby and stars , and Sonja Suhl, has been described as Let the Right One In meets Carrie and tells:

The tale of a 16-year-old girl living in a secluded fishing village who falls in love and discovers she’s a werewolf as she’s hunted down by the village.

It is produced by Alphaville in association with Gaumont Int’l and Back Up Films, where Deadline have also informed us that:

When Animals Dream has also been sold to Altitude (UK), Australia (Madman), Germany (Prokino), and Odeon (Greece) and is poised for stateside release later this year with a possible stop in Cannes.

Personally, I find the idea of a new Danish Let the Right One In-style horror incredibly exciting- how about you?
