Have you every wondered what our favorite, menacing #Disney villains would look in real life? We could've guessed that these villains would be ridiculously frightening in real life, but what does come as a surprise is that they look great scaring the living daylights out of us. In celebration of #Halloween, artist Jirka Väätäinen created this set of stunning and astonishing illustrations of famous Disney villains.
Check out the list below and guess which celebrity you think they look like.
1. Judge Claude Frollo From The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
We'll start off with the minister of justice, Judge Claude Frollo. He is a reluctant, self-righteous and religiously pious judge who is Quasimodo's reluctant guardian in the musical drama film #TheHunchbackOfNotreDame. He is truly one of Disney's most repelling villains and looking at this realistic illustration of him will only make us fear him more.
2. Mother Gothel From Tangled
We couldn't agree more on how alluring Mother Gothel looks in Walt Disney Pictures' 50th animated feature film #Tangled. Without relying on sorcery to "overpower" the main protagonist, Rapunzel, her character solely relies on her own humor, complexity and charisma to get through everything, making her one of the most well-received Disney villainess by film critics. Mother Gothel surely knows the best!
3. Jafar From Aladdin
What we can truly appreciate about these brilliant illustrations is not only their realistic appearance, but also how the images seem to be coming out of our screens, as if Jafar from the 1992 Disney film #Aladdin is really bound to put us on the edge of our seats. As calm as he may seem with this ominous gaze and troublesome grin, the power-hungry Grand Vizier of Agrabah is a real threat to anyone.
4. Prince Hans From Frozen
A master of trickery, this charming 13th prince of the Southern Isles is the reason why we shouldn't judge a book by its cover. He may be a handsome and noble man with royal blood, but Prince Hans from Disney's #Frozen will surely teach us (especially the younger audience) to not trust a guy who proposes to you the same day you meet him.
5. Cruella De Vil From 101 Dalmatians
Last but absolutely not least, this Michelle Pfeiffer look-alike illustration of the pampered and very glamorous Cruella de Vil from Dodie Smith's 1956 novel #TheHundredAndOneDalmatians looks like it is straight out of a magazine. With all that fur, no one could argue against the fact that Cruella isn't only an iconic fashionista but also a classic Disney villainess and was even ranked 39th on AFI's list "100 Years...100 Heroes and Villains".
