While Scarlet Witch, a.k.a Wanda Maximoff, has already made her debut in 2015´s Avengers: Age of Ultron and developed her character further in this year's Captain America: Civil War, there is so much that many people don't know about the character. And even though the MCU has seemed to stay away from her original and proper origin and powers so far, (mainly because of rights issues) Wanda does seem to be becoming one of the most power members of the avengers.
Marvel is planning on releasing more and more solo movies as they move towards Phase 3 of their cinematic universe, and while characters like Black Widow are long overdue for one, a character that has not even been mentioned is none other than the powerful Scarlet Witch herself.
So in this article, I will be discussing three reasons why Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, should get her own movie as fast as possible.
1. The Full Extent Of Her Powers
While Wanda's powers are already quiet a forced to be reckoned with in the movies, it is safe to say that the full reach of her powers has not yet been shown. To remind you all, this is the lady that wiped out almost the entire mutant population by just saying three words.
Wanda's abilities have been greatly downgraded in the movies. In both Civil War and Age of Ultron her abilities have seem to be in the realm of telekinesis and telepathy. However, in the comics, (according to Marvel.Wikia) her powers are mainly chaos and reality warping. This means she can completely change reality to her will. Her side powers include telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, flight, and energy projection in the form of hex bolts.
The point is that Scarlet Witch is a much more powerful and dangerous character in the comics then they made her in the film. A solo movie could be the perfect opportunity to fully introduce Wanda in all her glory, and while wiping out mutants might not be an option for Disney right now, I am sure they can find some other race for her to exterminate.
It seems that while Wanda can be considered "overpowered" in the comics, Marvel has almost completely de-powered her in the movies (which is really ironic when you think about it). If Wanda gets her own movie, it will give her a base to fully utilize her abilities, either through acts of good or completely destroying everything around her.

2. Her Unstable Life And Mind
If you watched the very brief origin video above, you can probably already see that Wanda is a very unstable character. She has a history of having mental breakdowns and emotional meltdowns. And since she is one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel multiverse, her breakdowns usually mean something disastrous. Whenever she breaks down, her powers go out of control, which can be seen in events such as House of M.
Because of her unstable nature, she is not only one of the strongest, but also one of the most unpredictable characters in all of Marvel. Simply crossing the line with her will make Wanda completely explode, and with the ability to destroy dimensions, I am not sure you want that to happen.
In the comics, Wanda is well known for killing Ant-Man, Hawkeye, and the Vision, and while we haven't seen her do too much damage in the Marvel universe yet, (although she did do some damage in Civil War) her potential as a weapon of destruction is endless.
A solo film will really open up space for Wanda to break down and build herself up again, causing great chaos along the way, and maybe we can finally see some real destruction within the MCU.
Vision is one of the biggest parts of Wanda's life, and to be honest, we have only been teased when it comes to their real relationship. While we do get some intimate moments in Civil War, in the comics, the two were actually married and divorced, and even had two kids!
The relationship between Scarlet Witch and Vision has already been given a base to jump off from, and giving Wanda a solo film could be the perfect way to show their relationship advance to the next level.
Wanda and Vision will be able to finally fall in love (as no android is supposed to be able to do) and their relationship can truly benefit the universe. By giving Wanda a film, with Vision there to support, we can finally see them both traveling on a quest to truly understand their powers and fall in love on the way, becoming the most formidable due on the MCU.
After all, look how quickly she dispatched of Vision in Civil War:
