Netflix's 'Death Note' is this year's best comedy. Look for 'AD3' in Facebook.

After taking the internet by storm with an hilariously vulgar teaser trailer, quickly became one of the most anticipated movies of 2017. Even if people didn't really know what it was about, the prospect of seeing fan-favorite actors and co-star in a buddy-comedy where they fire more F-bombs than bullets was more than enough to excite potential viewers. Now, the movie's latest trailer finally reveals the methods behind the explicit madness, showing what Reynolds and Jackson are swearing about.

When Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson), one of the world's deadliest hitmen alive, becomes the target of a former employer, his only chance at survival is placing his life in the hands of the protection agent Micheal Bryce (Ryan Reynolds) - another hitman who Kincaid tried to kill 28 times. The two must put their differences and violent grudges aside if they want to get out of the debacle alive.

The Hitman's Bodyguard also stars Salma Hayek, Gary Oldman, and Élodie Yung (Elektra in Netflix's Daredevil) in supporting roles. The movie hits cinemas on August 18, 2017.

Compared to the teaser, the official trailer for The Hitman's Bodyguard is more serious in tone. By the look of things, The Hitman's Bodyguard will follow the standard buddy-action movie formula where two disagreeing main characters are forced to work together - relying on chemistry between Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds to set this comedy apart from the rest. Hopefully, The Hitman's Bodyguard will bring out the best of both actors.
