R-Pattz went with four male friends to the Beyonce concert in LA and was reportedly denied a meeting with Queen Bey and then tried to sneak backstage past the security guards, but to no avail!
Rob does like his live music, but Beyonce? Reallies? Don’t get me wrong, she's got a killer voice, but the thought of five twenty-something men hitting up a pop concert replete with choons like 'Single Ladies' does tickle me a little.
'He was at the concert with four dudes, smoking, but in a great mood,' a backstage eyewitness informed scandal rag In Touch. 'He was trying to get into the Beyonce meet and greet, but he didn't have the right credentials and he didn't make it in!'
Why does the witness sound so gleeful at Rob being rebuffed? Ahh, the delicious schadenfreude of slebs being treated like us muggles.
Apparently Rob was denied access not because Beyonce doesn't like the Twilight actor, but because he didn't request an access pass in advance.
Much like any gaggle of fourteen year olds rowdy from necking alcopops, Rob and his friends wouldn't take no for an answer.
'They tried to sneak into the meet and greet!' the maliciously delighted insider reported. 'After they weren’t allowed in, [Rob] waited for 10 minutes at the door and security said no.'
Luckily Rob's pretty chill, so he didn't get het up about it, but reportedly posed for photos with his own fans backstage.
Beyonce's concert at the Staples Center in LA was packed to the hilt with California's bright young things - was in attendance with her fellow Glee actors, including , and .
'What an inspiring night!!! #Beyonce is literally a superhero!!!! Best night ever!!! #mrscarterlosangeles,' Michele tweeted after the show. Kourtney Kardashian, and were also amongst the fans enjoying the show.
Guys, what gives? Do you think Beyonce was too tired to see Rob after performing a big show, or do you think it was a simple administrative error on Rob’s part of not applying for the pass?
