Great news for Goldilocks with a passion for lantern-jawed Hollywood types, cos this just in: R-Pattz also has a penchant for blondes.
I know, right? You and I both thought that his past five years with sultry brunette Kristen meant that he would never love a light-locked lady. Well, we’ve both been played for fools. Gear up your Twilight DVD and phone your hairdresser, laydeez – it’s time to get those highlights put in. I’m thinking streaky party streamer highlights a la Britney Spears circa 1999 in the Oops I Did It Again video!
A source has told HollywoodLife.com that Rob’s taste in ladies’ hair has changed dramatically post Kristen:
“His type now is definitely blonde — it looks like he’s moving as far away from K-Stew as possible,” the source reveals.
Guys, we didn’t need a crystal ball to predict this. After all, wasn’t the waitress Robert had a fling with while they were broken up last summer of the fair haired persuasion?
The same source also states that while Rob is ready to step out with someone new, he’s not looking to put it about.
The source said “As for other girls, he isn’t sleeping with anyone yet, because he likes to have an emotional connection first.”
Potentially the source was being fed truth serum, because they then started to reveal all about something completely different – why it didn’t work out with Kristen. Apparently it wasn’t just to do with her being a brunette.
“They don’t have a Twilight movie to return to; when they had those movies they fell back into why they fell in love in the first place,” the same chatty Cathy reveals. “It just felt right that they were a couple during the filming of those films. Imagine being on The Bachelor and not looking for love. When Kristen and Rob were filming the Twilight series, this was where they fell in love. It was like going back to a honeymoon or renewing their vows. They don’t have that now, so add that with the other stuff, and you can see why their relationship has strained.”
Oof. And that’s why we don’t base our relationships on teen vampire franchises, kids.
