The whole "'90s kids remember" thing has saturated social media so thoroughly that we couldn't possibly forget those childhood treats, but that irresistible tingle of nostalgia is still strong — especially for the innocent chimes of the Rugrats theme.

If you need more Rugrats in your life, Nickelodeon may have you covered. At the 2016 NYCC, Nickelodeon SVP Michael Sammaciccia revealed that, now Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life and Legends of the Hidden Temple have been greenlit for TV movies, a Rugrats reboot is not out of the question.

"What’s happening with ['Legends of the Hidden Temple'] is that it’s allowing Nickelodeon to look at the rich library they have, and not just 'Rugrats.' All of them are being considered."

This isn't the first time that a Rugrats reboot has been floated around. Rugrats co-creator Paul Germain told EW:

"One of the things I think might be fun would be to just make the show a retro ‘90s show. I think that’d be cool. Cell phones can be interesting, but technology has a funny way of making it very difficult to write around because people are always in constant communication with each other in a way that works against drama. It takes a really fun writers’ obstacle away and makes it too easy."
