Even though the original Star Wars cast has stayed quiet about whether or not they're really, really returning (except for, you know, ), we're all under the assumption that Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Luke Skywalker will all return for ' Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens in 2015. Now Jedi News (via comicbookmovie.com) that is definitely returning due to a non-verbal agreement with Disney and LucasFilm. Here's the full report:

Ford wanted to see the synopsis for his character's development over more than just Episode 7. He saw this in August and is happy with the story arc.

Ford wanted a commitment to Indy 5. He did not get this as there is no plot line or script in place. What did happen was an agreement was made wherein an outline would be developed by the end of calendar year 2014, and if all parties can agree to it moving forward, efforts would be made to move on Indy 5 for release before the end of 2016.

Disney wanted a multi film deal with Ford which transcends Episode 7. This has now been agreed.

The return of Han Solo and everyone's favorite professor/archaeologist in Indiana Jones 5? Count me in. This is obviously still in the rumor phase, but if Ford his happy with his character's arc, I'm excited. Let's just hope that George Lucas stays out Indy 5.
