Marvel has its plate full right now with production of Black Panther just starting and Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok being in post-production. Still, despite all of the work they have to handle this year alone, none of those compare to the amount of work involved with what will be the biggest event in comic book movie history (literally): and the as-yet-untitled sequel. Fortunately, everything seems to be shaping up nicely.

Yesterday, it was announced the two movies had begun filming. And today, we got a pleasant surprise from directors Joe and Anthony Russo. They shared the first picture from set through their Facebook page. Take a look:

Yes, the picture only shows the trailers for the cast, but there are still a few details to notice:

First thing is the caption of "Day #1 of Infinity." We know Infinity War and Avengers 4 will be filmed at the same time, and back-to-back productions can be very messy when it comes to schedules; sometimes a crew might film scenes for one movie and move on to the next the following day. Thanks to the picture, we can speculate the movie that kicked off production is Infinity War.

Another detail worth noting is the sheer number of trailers in the picture, which teases the amount of characters we'll get to see. Besides, Robert Downey, Jr.'s trailer parties are apparently the stuff of legend. During promotion for , Daniel Bruhl (Baron Zemo) revealed a funny experience he had on set regarding RDJ's trailer:

“One day I had lunch and was eating my burrito in my humble, little trailer and somebody knocked at my door and said … ‘You’re cordially invited to Robert Downey’s village.' Then in the far distance, I saw that huge space."

Either way, the gigantic cast is - both old and new - is sure to have a good time.

Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018 and Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019.
