Outside of the fact that it's set for a June 2018 release and some exciting casting details, little to nothing is known about Deadpool 2. With a cast that includes Josh Brolin as the fan-favorite mutant Cable and a script that apparently made Weasel "laugh, cry and lose his mind," Deadpool 2 has solidified itself as one of the most anticipated sequels of 2018. But in a stroke of luck, Deadpool himself (Ryan Reynolds) has just shown fans their first official look at Deadpool 2, and it's as awesome as fans hoped!

Recently, star Ryan Reynolds revealed the very first official image from the highly-anticipated sequel. The actor's Tweet shows off the movie's newest addition, , who will be played by .

Beetz is a relatively new name in blockbuster filmmaking, and Domino will be her biggest role to date. Prior to landing the much-coveted role, Beetz was mostly known for her supporting role in the FX's award-winning show Atlanta. In the series that follows Earnest "Earn" Mark (Donald Glover), Beetz played Earn's ex-girlfriend Van, who he was trying to win back.

Following the surprise success of Deadpool, Domino became one of the most highly-sought out roles in the superhero genre. In fact, the movie's producers even had a shortlist that included recognizable names such as Sofia Boutella, Stephanie Sigman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

In the comics, Domino is a mutant who literally has luck on her side, since her telekinetic powers allow her to turn probability and reality in her favor. This has proven to be useful in her profession as a gun-wielding mercenary, and it will be interesting to see how Deadpool 2 director David Leitch will realize her abilities onscreen.

Following Reynolds' tweet, fans have been sharing their appreciation for Domino's live action look.

Fan reception for Domino's upcoming big screen debut is unanimously positive, and it seems that people are willing to give this reinterpretation of the character a shot.

When it comes to superhero movies, creative liberties are almost always a must when it comes to realizing certain costumed characters for their big screen appearances. Domino is no exception, and her new look is something that will inspire a lot of talk among fans of the comics and movies.
