Wowser! The fan-fave Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is blowing up your TV sets, and whether or not you're a fan, you definitely checked it out...

The viewing stats were made available online a few days ago, and it's TV's best drama debut in a massive four years – boom!

ABC's follow up to the Marvel movies opened to 12.1 million total viewers while scoring a 4.7 rating in the much sought-after 18-49 demo per finals. This makes it fall's highest-rated drama so far, and the most-watched drama launch since ABC's show, V, four years back.

ABC's Once Upon A Time opened to 13 million viewers in 2011 but was less highly rated with a 4.0 rating in the 18-49 demo.

In the demo, S.H.I.E.L.D won hands down in terms of viewing figures to The Blacklist (12.6 million/3.8), Sleepy Hollow (10.1 million/3.5) and Hostages (7.4 million/1.8).
