There's been talk of Netflix bringing back the popular 90s show, but would reprise her role as Buffy the Vampire Slayer if given the chance? C'mon, what do you think, it's BUFFY for Christ's sake! With Veronica Mars raising millions for a movie, Gellar recently told E! Online that she would willingly resurrect her character for a movie:

and I always talk about [a movie]. But the thing with Buffy is that Buffy was a movie, and it ultimately didn't work as a film. And I mean, we had such miles to overcome when we were trying to do a TV show based on a movie. And one of the reasons is that the story works better over time. If there was ever the right story, we would do it. At this point, the stake would be my walker and I would be hobbling in.

Do it, Wheed!

Of course, we can point to the success of Verocia Mars' Kickstarter campaign as a trailblazer for bringing Buffy back from the dead, but let's not forget how much money the show would need to make it as awesome as it's first run - it's pretty effects-heavy stuff. Plus, Whedon has a lot on his plate at the moment - what with The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and plenty of other potential superhero movies to work on, like Wonder Woman. Let's face it, no self-respecting Buffy fan would want to see the franchise return without Whedon at the helm.

What do you think? Would you want to see a Buffy the Vampire Slayer Kickstarter come out of the coffin, or have the comic books been enough to continue the story? Let me know what you think in the comment section below!
