Avengers: Infinity War will be uniting every single (well, almost) corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to face the Mad Titan, Thanos. It's safe to say that—aside from watching all the heroes we've gotten attached to over the better part of a decade—finally come together, we want to see their radically different personalities collide.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the reactions that characters like Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton will have to their new space-based brothers in arms, the Guardians of the Galaxy. Specifically to its two incredibly unconventional members: Rocket Raccoon and Groot.
Fortunately, thanks to Black Widow herself, #ScarlettJohansson, we know what to expect when the badass super spy meets a dancing space pirate, a reformed assassin, a violent (yet weirdly adorable) raccoon, a destroyer with a heart of gold and a walking, talking tree.
During an appearance in MTV's Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actress stated:
“Somebody said to me the other day, they were like: ‘Is Black Widow ready for the Guardians of the Galaxy?’ The last time aliens descended on New York I think my character was like, ‘Alright, I’ve seen it all. I’m good.’ So I don’t even think like a talking tree will faze her at this point."
That type of reaction proves to us once again: #NatashaRomanoff is a total badass. I mean, she just brushes off life on other planets like it's nothing at this point.
Still, reacting is one thing. Interacting with them is a completely different beast. So, could Black Widow have a meaningful moment with any of the rag-tag team of screw-ups? According to Johansson, it's entirely possible:
"As long as it feels true to me, then this conversation with another character is fine — even if it’s a tree.”
There's something very important to consider here: Despite how ridiculous or outlandish Rocket and Groot's roles as superheroes might sound out of context, they're fleshed-out characters who managed to hit audiences right in the feels more than once. So the possibility of them interacting with a more grounded, grittier character like #BlackWidow is not as crazy as it might sound to some. In fact, it's a promising scenario.

Both Rocket Raccoon and Natasha Romanoff are tortured souls who know what it's like to be beaten into being who they currently are. They could create a very interesting and entertaining dynamic with their respective disturbing experiences, jus the touch of heart that's needed for the action-packed extravaganza that will be #InfinityWar.
I don't know about you, but Johansson's comments, I can't wait to see Black Widow kicking a whole lot of alien butt alongside our favorite space a-holes. Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018.
