Once you get past all the adolescent making out, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is of course about the disparity between the elite and the masses. It's set in a world where power and wealth is held by a tiny (gaudily dressed) minority, who in turn oppress an impoverished and downtrodden majority.

One of the ways the movie slams this point across is showing the dichotomy of life in the Capitol and in the Districts. We've just received a load of brand new The Hunger Games: Catching Fire concept art which shows the design process behind the opulent and hi-tech Capitol.
