Some more on-set photos from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have found their way to the internet, this time featuring as Spider-Man saving what appears to be a bus full of innocent New Yorkers and as Rhino, apparently not at all happy that Spidey is saving them.
Spidey is doing what he do, in his usual suit of blue and red. No surprises there. But the costume design for Giamatti... Oh my. I cannot even tell you how hard I am laughing at the fact they put Russian character Aleksei Sytsevich in a tracksuit. An Adidas tracksuit. With a thick gold chain. Because if you've ever known an emigrated Russian man to the U.S., then you've known him to wear a "Russian tuxedo" more than once. The addition of the Russian criminal tattoos is a nice touch, letting you know he's probably spent extensive time on the inside of a Russian prison. The barbed wire across the forehead? It means life without parole. Really, they've nailed it here.
What do you think? Do you love the design for Aleksei Sytsevich? Hate it? Let us know. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters on May 2nd of next year.
